At the beginning of this month my mom and I were invited to a grand opening blogger event at World Market here in Tulsa. We felt so fancy since this was our first event in the blogger world. We had no idea what to expect (or what to wear!).
When we first walked in we were greeted by a worker and directed to check in at the blogger table. We both received a bag of goodies of World Market favorites. Their Raspberry syrup for drink flavors, an olive oil tester kit, a scarf, and a gift card to shop (seriously how generous)! Such a high energy of excitement and such wonderful helpful workers.
Even though in the back of my head I was thinking, "I can't believe we were invited to this when I started blogging a few months ago! Do they know that?! Surely they know I shouldn't be here!"
When we got over our shock, we started the thing we love…shopping!
I snapped a bunch of pictures while we shopped and when I got home I realized I must have loved their chairs! So many great ones to pick from and different styles.
These French dining room chairs are perfect with their gray wash finish. Very Restoration Hardware style but for a fraction of the cost! If blue isn't your style, no worries they come in several colors. They had gray, dark blue, light blue (pictured above), floral, and white.
Another shopping tip: don't forget to look up! You never know what you'll find hiding up there. This right here gives me all the feels. I picture this in a living room next to a shiplap fireplace (and myself cozy on it with a great book), or in a bedroom as an accent chair with an industrial tall lamp next to it, or in an office space for extra seating. Love the warm, worn-in look that never goes out of style. This tufted chair was lovely too. It was begging for this round marble table (pictured below) next to it. That way I could snuggle up with my coffee and quiet time in the morning.
I really wanted to pull the tufted chair and marble table down, grab a rug, and style a space right there in the store. Figured though that wasn't why we were invited! So if you live by World Market, it's a great place for home decor and furniture that's on trend and reasonably priced! Check them out soon!
